Mbox 2 Pro Firmware
Download ---> https://urllie.com/2t7Zt8
When the MBox 2 Pro is plugged into a computer it begins to download firmware without any indication that it is doing so. If this download is interrupted by either unplugging the Firewire cable or by a communication dropout caused by an incompatible firewire controller this firmware can become corrupt. The MBox 2 Pro will appear to be dead even when the power adapter is used without a Firewire connection.
Digidesign is providing a beta firmware and driver update to help counteract these issues. Only users experiencing a lack or loss of communication with Mbox 2 and a PowerBook G4 should use this update. If you do not have a PowerBook G4, there is no need to update your Mbox 2 firmware with this version.
To do this, proceed to the following steps. Note that you only need to do the following if you have updated your Mbox 2 firmware as above, and want to use your Mbox 2 on both a Macintosh and a Windows computer.
Minilyzer Supports AFILS MeasurementsNTI AG announces the release of the Minilyzer firmware release Version3.10, supporting induction loop measurements and extended individualharmonic distortion analysis from 2nd to the 5th harmonic. The newfirmware 3.10 is available now. All Minilyzer users can upgrade theirinstruments using the MiniLINK PC software to download the firmwarefrom the NTI Website.
The AFILS (Induction Loop Systems) mode is an extension of thestandard firmware functionality, and is available free of charge forall Minilyzer users with the MiniLINK USB interface installed. TheMinilyzer supports all calibrated AFIL sensors and displays theactually measured field strength in A/m and in dB relative to thestandardized reference of 400 mA/m. Following the AFILS IEC 60118standard, 3.10 supports level quasi peak, 10ms integration time, levelRMS, fast and slow integration time, frequency sweeps, THD+Nmeasurements, 1/3-octave spectral analysis and oscilloscope mode.

UPDATED It turns out that one problem was I needed gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad and gstreamer0.10-plugins-really-bad. The latter comes from debian-multimedia.org, and had a file conflict with the former in Debian unstable (bug #544667 apparently just fixed). Grabbing the version from testing made it work. This fixed at least rhythmbox, exhaile and quodlibet. Thanks to Tim-Philipp Müller for the solution. 2b1af7f3a8
